I think that music is an invitation to connect with ourselves and each other. Some think music is about getting lost in the dark and escaping from reality into some fantasy world. I think music is a way for us to connect deeply with the world, start to forge our own reality, and make it better than any fantasy. In the darkness, we can get lost — or we can learn to see.
